Gin belet is a quest for pure flavours, a free interpretation of what a gin might be, conceived in the avid minds of Koen De Jans and Jules Dobbels. We bring life to an ancient but charming distillery in the heart of the town of Hasselt in Belgium.
We use real ingredients: things we grow ourselves, crops harvested by farmers and things that sprout in our neighbour’s back garden, no-nonsense fruit and wild flowers. We don’t have any formulas and we don’t collect antique books.
Our varied range of distillations adapts to whatever the weather and the seasons bring us, creating an ever-changing product – which, to us, is always exciting, logical and fun. Different each time, a veritable joy.
